A galaxy far, far away has finally arrived on one of the most popular social media apps. There's now an official Star Wars account on TikTok, and the first post is more perfect than Han Solo's flying skills through an asteroid field.
Captioned with «These are your first steps,» the inaugural post clips together instances of Obi-Wan Kenobi saying, «Hello there.» The only thing missing so far is a second post that has Anakin Skywalker stating, «This is where the fun begins.»
We'd be remiss not to mention that great minds think alike. For instance, GameSpot's TikTok account also put together a «hello there» compilation back in June 2022. In addition, Star Wars should beware the power of accidents on the popular app. The Pokemon TikTok account has mistakenly shared an expletive-filled clip in the past.
Looking ahead, the next adventure for the Star Wars universe is The Mandalorian Season 3, premiering March 1 on Disney+. A new poster for the show sees Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin wielding the Darksaber with the adorable Grogu sitting in the ship.
There are a handful of other Star Wars series planned for later this year as well. Disney has previously announced Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew, and The Acolyte for 2023, though no official release dates have been revealed. There will also be a second season of Andor, but it's not expected until 2024.
