EA and Respawn have revealed the patch notes for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Patch 4, the update fixing a bunch of issues and performance improvements on PC, but not yet bringing any performance improvements for the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Patch 4 is available today on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and will be coming as soon as possible on PC.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has drawn plenty of plaudits for how it grows and expands on the action and narrative from Jedi: Fallen Order – see our Jedi: Survivor review here – though has also come in for criticism for performance weaknesses. For PC gamers in particular, there are some key performance improvements for data streaming hitches, performance improvements for some visual effects and (importantly) for raytracing.
Some improvements are also “coming soon” for console, but not with this update. While consoles can play well with the 30fps quality option, the performance mode falls well short of the 60fps, and so any improvements there will be very well received by fans.
