An interesting new Star Wars Jedi Survivor mod aims to fix various unaddressed issues, including occlusion culling, white flashes, ray tracing crashes, and more.
Created by modder 'Snight01', this tiny mod should fix the apparent ray tracing crashing issues on Jedha, occlusion culling as well as white flashing at the corners of the screen. "Far too long and I have seen way too many complaints", the modder writes. "I can't stand to see you gentlemen suffer. Therefore I am fixing it for you guys". Let's hope that Respawn finds a way to address these issues through an upcoming official update for the game soon.
Yesterday, Respawn and EA released yet another update for the Star Wars Jedi sequel, packing slight performance improvements in CPU-limited scenarios. Various patches have been released since the game's global launch back in April of this year. Although some of these updates somewhat improved occlusion behavior, there are still various issues to be addressed, especially on PC.
