Metal Gear Solid's second Master Collection volume, which was teased by Konami after the initial reveal of the first compilation, will reportedly include Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, finally freeing it from its PS3 exclusivity after 15 years.
After a decade of silence since the controversial release of Metal Gear Survive in 2013, Konami is finally bringing Metal Gear Solid back by... well, bringing Metal Gear Solid back. Although we're likely not getting a brand-new game in some time, a remake of Snake Eater is confirmed to be in the works and we're just a few short months away from the release of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, which compiles remastered versions of the first three games in the series.

Ever since that first collection was revealed, Konami has teased that more Metal Gear games are going to be remastered in the future. While the contents of that collection haven't been officially announced yet, there was a lot of evidence that it would feature Metal Gear Solid 4, something that IGN is now reporting to be the case.
As shared on Twitter by Nitroid, the Metal Gear Solid website was recently updated after the game was showcased at the most recent Nintendo Direct. If you inspect the page, placeholder buttons for Metal Gear Solid 4, Peace Walker, and the Phantom Pain have all been added to the timeline, suggesting that they're part of a future collection.
Nitroid also pointed out that placeholder buttons don't link to the official pages for the games that are currently active and instead link to new pages that feature screenshots from the first Master Collection, suggesting that it's linked to that instead of
