Sony could have more remasters of its older games on the way, as one of its studios says it's increasingly focusing on improving previous releases.
This comes from Nixxes Software, a studio acquired by PlayStation in 2021, having worked on some of the best-received PC ports of its console exclusives. In a new YouTube video, the team says it is, "working more and more in creating remasters", suggesting we can expect to see older PlayStation games ported over to PS5 with improvements.

"What we provide for PlayStation Studios is high-quality PC ports," says lead engineer, Coen Frauenfelder (spotted on ResetEra). "[We're] also working more and more in creating remasters."
This is an interesting comment, as Nixxes hasn't been known for its remasters in recent years. Right now, its main focus has been PC ports of PS4 and PS5 exclusives, at a much higher quality than some of the other releases. Most recently, it has ported, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, Spider-Man Remastered, Spider-Man Miles Morales, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Its built up a reputation among fans as one of the most reliable studios to work on PC ports, particularly after some missed like The Last of Us Part One, and even multi-console releases such as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
It's not clear what remaster Nixxes could be referring to, but fans have their theories. Many are hoping that the team is on the long-rumoured Bloodborne remaster, with the game currently stuck on PS4 - never even getting a PC port.
