Despite several issues on PC, Respawn Entertainment’sStar Wars Jedi: Survivor amassed a peak concurrent total of 67,855 players over the weekend. Compare this toStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which hit a peak concurrent player total of 46,550 players about four years ago.
The development team is aware that the PC version ofJedi: Survivor isn’t “performing to our standards for a percentage of PC players, in particular those with high-end machines or certain specific configurations.” It’s working to fix the same and improve performance “across a spectrum of configurations.” However, it’s asking PC players to be patient, since “each patch requires significant testing to ensure we don’t introduce new problems.”
The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions also have their share of performance troubles and screen-tearing, so expect patches for those in the coming weeks. Regardless, physical sales for the title are quite strong in the UK – it’s already the second biggest game launch of the year, just behindHogwarts Legacy. This is despite sales being 35 percent lower than Jedi: Fallen Order.
