Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has a unique animation that only plays when you equip Cal with a poncho, showing just how much the Jedi loves his strange fashion choices.
You'd be surprised at how many memes the Star Wars Jedi community has, from strangely powerful bosses like Oggdo Bogdo to Greez's love of salt and telling people to "grab some seat". Most of these spawned in Jedi: Fallen Order, but Respawn has cleverly continued and evolved the jokes in Jedi: Survivor, like how it included a new, much harder, boss fight against the Spawn of Oggdo Bogdo.

By far the biggest running joke across the two games is Cal's love of ponchos. Although this started as a baffling design choice in Fallen Order that was rightfully criticised as representing a lack of customisation options and rewards for exploration, Respawn took it on the chin and has run with the joke ever since, including the ponchos in Jedi: Survivor and even making fun of them in-game and through the tie-in novel Jedi: Battle Scars. Hell, even Cal's actor, Cameron Monaghan, couldn't stop talking about them during Star Wars Celebration this year.
Although you might think that including the ponchos and mentioning them in dialogue would be the end of the joke in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, it turns out that there's an incredibly easy-to-miss detail about the ponchos that shows just how much Cal loves wearing them.
