Splatoon 3 was only released within the last week, but one fan has already recreated Deep Cut’s Shiver in another Nintendo game, Miitopia. Along with Frye and Big Man, Shiver forms the idol group Deep Cut who take on the presenting duties in Splatoon 3.
Miitopia started life on the Nintendo 3DS before receiving a Switch port in 2021. In the comedic RPG, players create their own characters by using the Mii creator, which Nintendo has included in multiple games since the Wii era, and fans have been keen to show off their creations, such as the Zeraora from Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon. To that end, Redditor dynamicbeemo has utilized the creation tool to accurately recreate Shiver, allowing the newest idol to assist players on their journey.

Including her hairstyle and triangle eyebrows, and even smaller details like Shiver’s spiked earrings, the recreation is an impressive feat and shows just how flexible the creation tool is. This isn’t the first member of Deep Cut to be made in Miitopia, as the Redditor has also recreated Frye’s likeness. Dynamicbeemo isn’t one to keep the creations to themselves, as both characters come with the relevant access keys so that other players can download them straight into the outlandish RPG to join the party.
