Splatoon 3 has a story mode that is quite different from its predecessors. Starting in The Crater, players start investigating the disappearance of the great zap fish, who Cuttlefish believes was kidnapped by the Octarians.
After a confrontation with DJ Octavio, players discover that it was not the Octarians behind the disappearance of the great zap fish. Instead, there is a whole new threat to contend with including a whole new area of the world. Cuttlefish ends up on the receiving end of the kidnap, and the player must rescue him as well as investigate the great zap fish's disappearance in this strange new land.
Splatoon 3: How To Draw And Post Pictures
In Splatoon 3, the main story takes place in Alterna, an area beneath the crater that was unknown to inklings and octarians alike. The gameplay is rather different, as players choose how they want to tackle missions and in what order. Levels in Splatoon 3 can also be skipped entirely because of the new way players reach other areas and islands.
Throughout the maps, there are blobs of fuzzy ooze blocking pathways to new kettles that must be cleared. To clear the ooze, small fry must be thrown at the bubble located somewhere on the ghastly mass. Using swift maneuvers, players can bypass a chunk of these road blocks. Each fuzzy ooze has a set amount of power eggs to collect to clear the way to the next level. Eggs are collected in levels by defeating enemies or popping open crates. Additional eggs can be found around each island in crates or by doing the challenge balloons scattered across the land.
Each level has its theme challenge, from jumping to weapon testing and even level manipulation. Players will use every skill in their toolbox to see the end credits for Splatoon 3.
