The upcoming 11th season of the American Horror Story anthology series, AHS: NYC, will hit the Big Apple, bringing fear and evil to the great city. FX released the teaser this week and just as previous teasers in the past, it deals with abstract imagery but sets the stage for what's to come.
There's a lot of blood, needles, and seemingly a leather bar in play as from the episode titles hint, it's set at the beginning of the AIDS crisis. The premiere will include the first two episodes of the 10-episode season, followed by two episodes each Wednesday for four subsequent weeks.
AHS: NYC will feature an all-star cast featuring some AHS alumni as Joe Mantello, Billie Lourd, Zachary Quinto, Russell Tovey, Leslie Grossman, Charlie Carver, Sandra Bernhard, Isaac Powell, Denis O'Hare, and Broadway legend Patti LuPone.
American Horror Story is an anthology horror drama created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk that debuted back in 2011. Over the decade, it's been set in numerous, horrifying environments but also dealt with real-world horrors as well. AHS has been renewed up to its 13th season on FX, where it's the network's longest-running hour-long series.
AHS: NYC premieres Wednesday, October 19 at 10 PM ET/PT on FX and streams the next day on Hulu.
