Santa Monica Studio has released a new God of War Ragnarok video that shows behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the game. God of War Ragnarok is one of the most highly anticipated games of this year, and it officially comes out in just a few weeks on November 9.
Fans should note that God of War Ragnarok has gone gold ahead of its scheduled release next month. This means that the game is ready for mass production and will probably not get delayed. However, games nowadays receive a day 1 patch around their launch, to further remove bugs and solve other leftover issues, and the same is likely true in the case of God of War Ragnarok. Now, Sony has shared a new behind-the-scenes video that gives players a deep dive into the making of God of War Ragnarok.

Santa Monica Studio has shared a new video for God of War Ragnarok titled Shaping the Story. It’s over 10 minutes long and mainly comprises of interviews with the development team about God of War Ragnarok’s story. It first talks about the main plot of 2018’s God of War before setting up Ragnarok. The video also includes some footage from the mocap studio, featuring actors that give their voices and performances to bring the characters to life.
Toward the end of the video, the developers talk about ending the Norse saga of God of War in two just games. It confirms that a lot happens in this final chapter and that God of War Ragnarok will provide closure to a lot of the fans’ questions from the first game.
