One talented and horticulturally-minded gamer has created a watering can in the image of Squirtle from the Pokemon series. While many Water-type Pokemon have been featured in the franchise over the years, Squirtle is one of the first to be seen in the games since it was part of the original Kanto starters.
With this in mind, Squirtle is one of the more famous Pokemon in the franchise and is recognizable to most fans. This pocket monster looks similar to a turtle, sporting a brown shell and a blue body, and as a Water-type, it has several moves based around water. Recently, this inspired one Pokemon fan to take Squirtle’s aquatic theme and give it a real-world purpose.

In a video posted to Reddit, a user known as velvettoolbox revealed a unique creation they had 3D printed based on Squirtle from the Pokemon series. While numerous gamers regularly post their fan art to the Pokemon subreddit, this design stood out because it had a real-world function. Specifically, the Reddit user had made a watering can that looked like the Water-type Pokemon.
The short clip shared by velvettoolbox showed someone using the Squirtle watering can to take care of some outdoor plants. The person holding the watering can tilted it forward, causing water to come out of the holes placed where the Pokemon’s mouth was. In addition to being functional, the design was impressive.
