There are plenty of things for Disney Dreamlight Valley players to do if they want to keep busy, including taming the animals that roam the various regions. While this takes some effort to do, one Disney Dreamlight Valley fan has shared a series of images to simplify the process.
There are a few different reasons to tame the critters scattered throughout Disney Dreamlight Valley, with the first being that each successful interaction grants players an item drop. While these drops can just be random spices or flowers from the area, they can also be item bags that provide motifs, furniture, and outfits. Even Dream Shards can be dropped by the game’s adorable wildlife. However, the second reward is even more exciting, as players are able to get the critters as pets once fully tamed.

Every region in Disney Dreamlight Valley has its own critter, with raccoons, squirrels, turtles, rabbits, crocodiles, foxes, and sunbirds all able to be tamed. Instead of just featuring one of each animal, though, Gameloft has added five different colors to tame, with each variant appearing at a different time of day. Some of the variants even prefer a different food type, making the taming process more difficult. Fortunately, the critter taming guides from Lady_Brittany_ contain all the necessary information in an easily readable way.
Each of the seven different guides follows the same format as the sunbird guide pictured above, focusing on one specific critter.
