AAA video games using Marvel Comics properties are becoming increasingly common. One of the most popular games starring a superhero from the brand is Insomniac Games' Spider-Man, originally released in 2018 for the PS4. This game then received a spin-off in the form of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, where it follows Miles in his adventure in saving New York City from a new threat while Peter Parker is away. Following that, an official sequel will be coming to the PS5, starring both Spider-Men and the infamous symbiote Venom.
These games are all exclusive to PlayStation consoles, with both Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man: Miles Morales being available to play on the PS5. However, recent years have seen Sony allowing some of these exclusives move from its consoles to PC, with the most recent port being 2018's God of War. This trend is continuing, as June 2022's State of Play Presentation revealed that Spider-Man Remastered will be swinging onto PC later this year in August. One tidbit that wasn't formally announced with the trailer, however, is that Spider-Man: Miles Morales will also be coming to the platform.

After the State of Play Presentation, a blog by Insomniac's Ryan Schneider was posted on PlayStation's website. It notes that both games will be coming to PC, with controller or mouse and keyboard options being available for ways that players can control Spider-Man. These PC ports of Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man: Miles Morales will also have PC-specific settings such as adjustable rendering and ray traced-reflections, along with other features that will be announced at a later date.
