The popular Spider-Gwen is entering her own Spider-Verse saga with Marvel's Spider-Gwen: Gwenverse miniseries, and it looks like she will immediately have to deal with Thor's dangerous Asgardian family.
In her universe, Earth-65, Spider-Gwen was bitten by a radioactive spider while her boyfriend, Peter Parker, turned into the Lizard and later died in her arms, inspiring Gwen to become a hero. The character has proved incredibly popular with readers and received her ongoing series, recently changing her name to Ghost-Spider. In December of last year, Marvel announced that Spider-Gwen will get her own version of the Spider-Verse, in which she will travel the Multiverse and encounter different variants of herself, such as a Captain America-inspired one.

In the preview for Spider-Gwen: Gwenverse #1 — by Tim Seeley, Jodi Nishijima, Federico Blee, and Ariana Maher — shared by Marvel Comics, Gwen, who usually travels between her own dimension and Marvel's core universe of Earth-616, has an accident that leaves her stranded between the universes. She is rescued by Spider-Zero, a dimensional traveler who is also the Master Weaver of the Web of Life and Destiny, the construct which allows travel between the realities of the Multiverse. Seeing that Gwen is wounded, Spider-Zero brings her to Earth-65, but on their arrival they discover a very different world from the one Gwen remembers.
