Sons of the Forest is a dark survival horror game that challenges gamers' hunting, foraging, and fighting skills by dropping them in the middle of enemy-infested woods. The highly anticipated sequel to The Forest brings new gameplay while maintaining a similar feel and energy that its predecessor is known for.
Despite being delayed multiple times in 2022, Endnight Games is sticking to its final drop date by releasing the game in Early Access on PC. According to the description on Steam, the Early Access period will last approximately 6–8 months while the team adds more gameplay, items, and features. Sons of the Forest goes into Early Access starting February 23, 2023, for PC players on Steam, with no word on console versions currently.
