Hyper Light Breaker Delayed To Fall, First Gameplay Trailer Revealed
The game was supposed to launch in Early Access this spring.

Developer Heart Machine and publisher Gearbox have announced that Hyper Light Breaker's Early Access period on Steam has been delayed to later this year in the fall. It was previously set to launch this spring.
A new gameplay trailer was revealed, showcasing the roguelite's features, including infinite open worlds and an endless amount of weapons to wield. Hyper Light Breaker is a 3D action-adventure game set in the world of Overgrowth where players are tasked with overthrowing the Abyss King. The game can be played in either single-player or co-op.

Hyper Light Breaker was first announced in March 2022 for PC as a follow-up to 2016's Hyper Light Drifter. While no other platforms were announced for Hyper Light Breaker, Hyper Light Drifter was initially only on PC, but eventually made its way to PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and iOS. Hopefully, this means that Hyper Light Breaker will do the same.
In GameSpot's Hyper Light Drifter review, we said, «As stunning as it is, Hyper Light Drifter's greatest triumph isn't in the story that it tells, but in the stories that it doesn't. I don't know this place's entire history, but its desolate elegance inspires me to fill in the gaps myself.»
