In a recent interview, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 voice actor Colleen O'Shaughnessey revealed the key to getting Tails' voice right. O'Shaughnessey plays the voice of the anthropomorphic fox Miles «Tails» Prower in the upcoming sequel to the 2020 smash hit Sonic the Hedgehog. The upcoming Sonic sequel follows Sonic, the titular super-powered blue hedgehog, as he teams up with his trusty partner Tails to once again take on the evil Doctor Robotnik (Jim Carrey), who has returned to Earth from Mushroom Planet in search of the Master Emerald, a crystal powerful enough to destroy civilizations. The nefarious scientist is joined by Knuckles (Idris Elba), a powerful red echidna who wants nothing more than to defeat Sonic at all costs. With the world threatened, Sonic and Tails must reach the Master Emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.
