Sonic 2-Movie Collection Steelbook Is Now Just $30
gamespot.comSonic the Hedgehog has a third film on the way, so it's the perfect time to catch up on the past two movies. If you haven't bought the two yet, you can get them in 4K in this $30 packaged deal ahead of Prime Day 2023.
The Sonic 2-Movie Collection Steelbook includes two Sonic movies and digital codes for each one: Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Each movie comes encased in its own steelbook, featuring official art for the movie printed across the case. You can experience the two Sonic movies in either 4K or Blu-ray. The Prime Day deal applies to the 4K version of the two-movie collection, but the Blu-ray version is also available for $2 less. You can also buy Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 separately.

The Sonic the Hedgehog movie takes inspiration from the games without following the exact same story. Sonic, an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog that can run at supersonic speeds, befriends police officer Tom Wachowski and the pair work together to stop scientific genius Dr. Robotnik from using Sonic's quills for his nefarious experiments. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 follows Sonic and Tom on a new adventure--this time with popular Sonic characters Tails and Knuckles in their efforts against Dr. Robotnik.
In short, a lot happens in these two movies. It's best to watch them if you plan on seeing Sonic the Hedgehog 3 when it comes to theaters. You can also browse some plush toys of the series' cute little mascots--like Dr. Eggman!
