TNT has set the release date for Snowpiercer season 3. The post-apocalyptic thriller series is based on the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand, and Jean-Marc Rochette.

The story was adapted into the 2013 film Snowpiercer, directed by Bong Joon-ho. Like the film, the series follows a group of survivors aboard a ten-mile-long supertrain.
