Skyrim Together Mod Gets 50,000 Downloads in 24 Hours
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is known throughout the gaming world as one of the most immersive and rich single-player experiences available. Even over a decade since Skyrim first launched, thanks to mods and a new edition of the game being dropped every so often, fans are still finding new ways to venture across the coldest lands of Tamriel. Even with Skyrim being an enjoyable single-player experience, many would cherish the opportunity to bring a friend or a few fellow Dragonborn along with them to bring down Alduin.
The dream of a multiplayer Skyrim experience has recently become a reality. Thanks to modders over at the SkyrimNexus, SkyrimTogether Reborn was created, which allows two to eight players to adventure around the land of the Nords together. The experience has been tested with up to 30 players, though, meaning that Skyrim could even be played as a miniature MMO. Despite SkyrimTogether Reborn releasing just a few days ago, it has already seen widespread success.

At the time of writing, the mod has been downloaded 84,660 times, and has received a total 276,907 views. This already puts Skyrim Together Reborn right at the top of the page for the most popular Skyrim mods in July, and while it hasn't yet reached the heights of being featured on the page for the most popular mods of all time, it seems likely that it will eventually. Given the ambitious nature of this Skyrim mod, even if it doesn't receive as many downloads as some other big hits the community will likely still remember it as bringing an impactful change to the game.
