Tons of The Elder Scrolls fans have experienced the world of Skyrim since its initial 2011 release and subsequent ports on most modern consoles, while the PC has remained the main modding hub for the game. One Skyrim fan decided to take inspiration from the long-running title's Thieves Guild to create a Skyrim-themed Xbox 360 controller.
Reddit user PlatyMcNum recently posted multiple images of their Skyrim Thieves Guild-inspired Xbox 360 controller that they created for a friend who is a fan of The Elder Scrolls. The controller looks as if it's made of an aged brown leathery fabric that's stitched together painstakingly, while the photos show different angles that highlight the painted design on the Xbox 360 gamepad. The D-pad, triggers, bumpers, start, and back button of this Xbox 360 controller are all notably a light shade of brown, which effectively contrasts the darker browns that comprise most of the custom Skyrim gamepad.

Dedicated Skyrim fans who have experienced the Thieves Guild content will notice a small detail on the back of PlatyMcNum's custom controller, as at the bottom of the battery pack is the Danger Shadowmark. In Skyrim, these Shadowmark symbols are used to tell other thieves about a potential risk, and it's one of nine they use to communicate. PlatyMcNum has confirmed that their friend still has the controller on display and now plays Skyrim on Xbox One, but it's currently unclear if The Elder Scrolls fan intends to create a custom Skyrim Xbox One controller or if they will skip over a generation to the Xbox Series X/S one.
