Not only does April signal the start of Spring, but it's also the season when publishers will offer huge discounts and deals on a variety of video games. Sony and Nintendo have already started their Spring Sales, with various deals on third-party and first-party games. Nintendo, for example, is offering a variety of deals on the eShop for SEGA and Atlus-developed titles for both the Switch and 3DS consoles. Microsoft has now started its Xbox Spring Sale as well, letting fans save on almost 800 different games through its digital storefront.
Plenty of games are on sale through this Xbox sale, giving gamers the chance to save money on titles that were released on the system, which encompass AAA hits, indie games, and more. Discounts on these titles range from 20% to even 80% off, slashing prices on games like Ori and the Will of the Wisps, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and even the recently released port of former PlayStation exclusive Godfall: Ultimate Edition. There are also a section of games that were released during the original Xbox and Xbox 360 eras that are not only discounted, but also backwards compatible with modern Xbox systems.
