Since the release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Pokemon fans have been creating their own unique challenges in the game beyond doing Research Tasks and completing the Pokedex. One Pokemon Legends: Arceus player has decided to start their own challenge in which they sit with the seated Pokemon in the open landscapes of the Nintendo Switch game.
Reddit user Charizauce recently posted several images of their adventures in Pokemon Legends: Arceus' Hisui region, stating that they're «challenging» themselves to take screenshots with as many sitting wild Pokemon as possible. Pokemon games are no strangers to Pokemon in the overworld, with Pokemon Sword and Shield focusing on the feature with its Wild Area, but Hisui is the first region that shows the Pokemon taking brief breaks as they roam the open landscapes. Charizauce's challenge also gives the Pokemon Legends: Arceus player an excuse to revisit the different biomes of the game which are shown off in their screenshots.

The first Pokemon Legends: Arceus sitting selfie from Charizauce shows the player resting next to Zorua in an icy tunnel in the Bonechill Wastes of Alabaster Icelands. Charizauce's second Pokemon Legends: Arceus screenshot focuses on two cheerful characters resting on the side of a snowcapped mountain near the Obsidian Falls of Obsidian Fieldlands as the player sits next to a much larger Blissey. Another pink Pokemon is the center of Charizauce's third Pokemon Legends: Arceus sitting screenshot as the camera is zoomed in a little closer to make the baby Pokemon Cleffa look closer to the player's stature than it normally would.
