Talented artist @MetalBraimon has created an absolutely adorable piece of fan art imagining what the Nintendo character Kirby would look like if they inhaled a variety of different X-Men. Based on a Kirby 30th Anniversary promotional image, the Nintendo/Marvel mash-up is the perfect fan art creation!
Kirby is the protagonist of Nintendo's Kirby game series, first premiering in 1992's Kirby's Dream Land as the perpetually smiley, fierce fighter attempting to save their homeworld Planet Popstar and other lands from the dark forces of evil. Kirby is one of Nintendo's most beloved creations, and they are known for their massively powerful elastic body and expanding mouth that will inhale objects and enemies, using their «Copy Ability» to take on their form, powers, and weapons.

The artist @MetalBraimon often makes cute X-Men related fan art for his followers, and his Kirby/X-Men creation is a triumph. The artist reimagines a world where Kirby exists alongside the X-Men and has been able to inhale them, gaining their forms and powers, sometimes with hilarious results. The mash-up of these awesome fandoms makes so much sense, because Kirby's Copy Ability will often give them a simple object or piece of clothing, a unique aura, or transform them into a new form, all things that make the mutants of Marvel so unique and interesting. Similarly, if Kirby were a character at Marvel there is a high likelihood that they could be considered a mutant as well, with other mutant character like Glob Herman or Doop bearing a resemblance to them, and other mutants having similar powers such as Rogue or Synch.
Kirbys but they are X-men!
