With the Pokemon franchise over a quarter of a century old, there have been plenty of creatures of all shapes and sizes introduced over the years. While there are now close to 900 different Pokemon, Gengar has and remains an all-time fan favorite. This is constantly proven by the seemingly never-ending stream of fan art featuring the Ghost/Poison-type.

Gengar is one of the first-generation Pokemon available in the long-running franchise's latest major video game entry, Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The title is revolutionary for getting a Gengar, in that while still attainable via trading a Haunter with another real-world player (as has been the requirement in all prior games) players can use a Linking Cord to do the process solo.

Posted onto r/pokemon, a user by the handle of u/soulmastadef has already garnered thousands of likes within only a day of posting their impressive Gengar Pokeball glass pendant. In the roughly 30-second clip, viewers first see the front side of a small Pokeball. While an accurate and impressive creation in and of itself, the real prize is when the Pokeball is turned around, revealing a full image of Gengar in his famous pose. As the glass pendant is rotated, Gengar becomes stretched and distorted, a fitting quality for the Shadow Pokemon.

Viewers will also notice a pair of holes at the top of the Pokeball where a necklace can be threaded through. While the fan-made creation is nothing short of impressive, other Pokemon fans have been modding established products into custom Gengar-themed creations, including one that recently went viral for their custom Gengar Game Boy Macro. For those unaware, a Game Boy Macro is a Nintendo DS with the top screen removed.
