A recent update to finally addressed the issue where a prom would be canceled if Mei Prescott, the default principal in, was dead. That wasn't even the only circumstance that could stop prom, as Mei deciding to quit being the principal would also cancel the event.
To make matters more frustrating, it wasn't as if the school didn't hold prom for a year for the sake of remembering the former principal or anything like that. Proms would be stopped indefinitely. Plus, the reason why proms stopped being held wouldn't be given either, leading to players wondering what happened to cause the bug.

Although annoying, that might not be the worst issue that was recently fixed in as another bug was resolved alongside the prom problem. Sims in high school should no longer randomly stop taking exams and leaving the classroom, which would result in Sims getting detention. Since exams and prom might be the most iconic parts of high school, it'll be nice to have them hopefully work as intended. Now, if only more of the bugs this pack has would be fixed
