The Sims 4 has unveiled a gameplay trailer for a brand-new game pack called My Wedding Stories. It showcases Tartosa, a romantic new world, as well as several ways to celebrate your special day. We even see a glimpse of the return of slow dancing, a much-missed feature of past games. This is the first major DLC pack since Cottage Living back in July 2021, with the last five releases being kits focusing on adding clothing or decor items to the game. Simmers are truly ready to celebrate the wedding season.

The trailer sets the scene for drama as we see Camille beginning to prepare for her wedding. When the big day arrives Camille makes a life-changing decision when she chooses to call off the ceremony when she realizes that she's in love with her best friend Dominique. The game pack brings us Tartosa, a new world said to contain breathtaking scenery including beaches, gardens, waterfalls, and stunning sunsets. Here you'll be able to choose the perfect venue for your wedding. The ability to get married is currently in the game, but the feature is very basic. This pack looks set to expand that hugely in order to truly reflect real-life experiences.
Players will be in control from their engagement to their honeymoon. You can select a ring, plan your proposal, throw an engagement party, and set a date. Prior to the big day, Sims can go on Bach parties, and even have a rehearsal dinner. The ceremony itself will also be customizable with options for clothing, flowers, toasts, speeches, food, cake, gifts, and dancing.
