The Nope Super Bowl trailer reveals a new look at Jordan Peele's upcoming horror movie, including an ominous shot of a mysterious dark well. The film is set in an isolated inland California town and centers on James and Jill Underwood, the owners of the only Black-owned horse trainers of Hollywood. Nope sees the two and other residents of the small town who find their lives upended when they witness a mysterious and abnormal event.
Daniel Kaluuya is reuniting with Jordan Peele to lead the cast of Nope alongside Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun, Barbie Ferreira, Brandon Perea and Michael Wincott. Development on the horror-thriller was revealed in late 2020 under Peele's exclusive production partnership between his Monkeypaw Productions banner and Universal Pictures, with Palmer and Kaluuya joining a few months later and production running in mid-2021. With only a few months remaining until the film's arrival, audiences are getting new looks at Peele's highly anticipated return to the horror genre.
