As part of the expansion, Sims can get closer to the spiritual realm than ever before, especially with the Ghost Whisperer trait. So, if you're Sim enjoys communicating with and discussing the supernatural, this is the perfect trait to bring them one step closer to a career in all things eerie.
Unfortunately, it's not as simple as unlocking just the Ghost Whisperer trait, as it is a reward only received as part of the Ghost Historian aspiration, which involves writing Horror novels. However, if you are not interested in going through the process and unlocking the other rewards naturally, you can always opt for a cheat code instead. Using the cheat code varies according to your platform; however, it isn't as complicated as expected.
As stated, the only way to unlock the Ghost Whisperer trait without using any kind of cheat is through the Ghost Historian aspiration. The Ghost Historian aspiration has four levels and several tasks to complete. Not only will you be able to unlock the Ghost Whisperer trait, but if your Sim was hoping to add writing Horror novels to their bucket list, this is a great way to unlock that reward as well.
The Sims 4 has long included plenty of supernatural elements, but the Life & Death expansion takes impressive inspiration from real-life places.
Completing the aspiration itself is not particularly difficult, but it can be incredibly tedious since some steps require things like leveling up your Writing skills. For those of you who have already done this, it will be a walk in the park as the longest part is already behind you.
