She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star Tatiana Maslany teases some of the new MCU superhumans in the show. Maslany, former star of Canadian sci-fi series Orphan Black, stars as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, a single attorney in her 30s who becomes a 6’7” superhuman hulk after a blood transfusion. She stars alongside Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk, as well as Tim Roth and The Good Place’s Jameela Jamil.She-Hulk will premiere on Disney+ later this summer.
A lot of the show's early attention has not been positive. When the She-Hulk trailer released, some viewers were unimpressed with the CGI for its main character; especially when compared with the CGI for Ruffalo’s Hulk, many found She-Hulk’s special effects to be unconvincing. While some VFX artists have pushed back on the She-Hulk trailer effects criticism, many viewers will still be waiting for the full series to see whether the special effects and other aspects of the show live up to the high precedent that Marvel has set for themselves in recent years.

Now, Maslany gives further details on She-Hulk, regarding some of its new characters, in an interview withEmpire. Specifically, she speaks about the experience of her character at her law firm, which specializes in superhuman law. While sometimes tough for Jennifer to deal with, Maslany notes that her cases are opportunities to introduce some “really fun characters.” Check out the full statement from Maslany:
