Jennifer Walters is transforming into She-Hulk at a lesser rate than before as she tries to prevent drawing attention from her green counterpart and her connection to Jack of Hearts. In She-Hulk #5 by Marvel Comics, Jennifer explains to the recently returned hero that she is keeping things low-key when it comes to Hulking out and using her powers, as she doesn't want the Avengers to learn about Jack coming back.
Jack of Hearts has returned in the pages of She-Hulk, as the long-dead hero has mysteriously been brought back to life. Jack immediately encountered She-Hulk, and the pair of heroes hit it off surprisingly well as Jennifer Walters helped him reacclimate to a very different world than he had lived in. However, Jack of Hearts' previous death, where his powers exploded in Avengers Mansion and killed Scott Lang as well, has made him an enemy of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes. She-Hulk realizes that she needs to keep a low profile and avoid going green and drawing attention to herself to ensure the Jack of Hearts doesn't become the next target of the Avengers.

In She-Hulk #5 by Rainbow Rowell, Luca Maresca, Rico Renzi, VC's Joe Caramagna, and Jen Bartel, Jennifer Walters, and Jack of Hearts end up going for dinner, where the latter shares that sometimes it feels like he's been gone for «a lifetime.» Jack asks Jennifer why she isn't in her main «green» Hulk form as he thought she preferred sticking with that appearance. Walters admits that transforming into She-Hulk and showing off her powers tends to draw more attention to her — but since no one knows Jack of Hearts is back, the Avengers might take issue with
