Selling Sunset's Christine Quinn made an appearance on a podcast where she alleged that the show's creator once told her to kill herself. When the Netflix reality series premiered, Christine was quickly labeled as the villain of the show because of her strong and unapologetic personality. Constantly feuding with several castmates confirmed the label given by fans. After five seasons of watching her work for Jason and Brett Oppenheim of the Oppenheim Group, she terminated her contract with the brokerage to work with her husband's crypto real estate business company, RealOpen.
Since Selling Sunset season 5 was released, the star has been revealing different alleged secrets about the producers' manipulative behavior. While on Alexandra Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, Quinn said that the producers intentionally create strife between the cast members right before filming begins so that there can be tension between the castmates. Additionally, Christine stated that her villainous character trait was intentionally created by producers, and these producers would even go as far as audio dubbing certain scenes to manipulate storylines.
