Christine Quinn was reportedly disinvited from the MTV Awards due to allegations she made about Selling Sunset's creator. The Netflix hit won multiple categories at the movie and TV award show Sunday night. But while many cast members were there to celebrate, the show's villain was notably absent.
Christine, who has filled the antagonist role since season 1, has made a lot of comments about her issues with the reality show's production. Though she mostly complained about producer favoritism and unfair editing, one recent comment was incredibly shocking. As she recounted on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Christine was allegedly told to kill herself by creator/producer Adam DiVello. In addition to her own disturbing accusation, the realtor alleged there were many other complaints about Adam's behavior. Now, Christine may be facing consequences for her stunning claim.

On June 6, the day after the MTV Awards, Page Six reported that Christine was disinvited from the ceremony. A source told Page Six that it was Netflix, not MTV, that rescinded the 33-year-old's red carpet invite. The insider alleged that Christine was axed specifically because of her complaint about Adam. “My guess is that they knew in advance that Selling Sunset was going to win, hence why Adam [DiVello] was in attendance," the source shared, adding, «it made it less sticky of a situation to not have Christine present.” Indeed, Adam didn't just attend the awards show. He also gave a speech while accepting Best Docu-Reality Series, one of several awards Selling Sunset took home. In addition to Adam, Christine's primary nemesis Chrishell Stause won a major MTV Award.
