Nubia & Wonder Woman Swimsuit Costumes Show Off Fun Side of DC Heroes
Nubia and Wonder Woman are getting some much-deserved fun in the sun, as both Amazonian heroes trade their usual costumes for swimsuits in new DC Comics cover art. In Derrick Chew's recently revealed Nubia: Queen of the Amazons #3 variant cover, Nubia and Diana enjoy themselves on the beach, as the heroes keep things competitive while playing volleyball. The stunning cover shows the more playful side of the fierce warriors.
Nubia is currently the Queen of the Amazons, as Wonder Woman's long-lost twin sister has become an important figure on Themiscyra, especially during Diana's recent absence. Nubia's profile has risen in the pages of DC Comics, as the hero has recently starred in her miniseries, Nubia & The Amazons, is one of the main characters in the current Trial of the Amazons crossover series, and will star in a four-issue series, Nubia: Queen of the Amazons from Stephanie Williams, Alitha Martinez, and Mark Morales later this Summer. In a new swimsuit variant cover for the third issue of the upcoming miniseries, Nubia and Wonder Woman ditch their usual costumes for summer fun.

DC Comics revealed several new swimsuit covers starring its most popular heroes, antiheroes, and villains, which feature all-new summer looks. In Derrick Chew's variant cover art for Nubia: Queen of the Amazons #3, Nubia and Wonder Woman get their own swimsuits (which are stripped-down versions of their usual costumes) as they play volleyball on the beach. Given all the drama the heroes have been dealing with recently, including the death of Hippolyta and Wonder Woman herself, seeing the pair of Amazonians have some fun is a welcome sight.
