The Star Wars: Cargo Bay attraction aboard the Disney Wish cruise teaches kids how to handle the different creatures of Star Wars’ galaxy. Ever since George Lucas’ Star Wars debuted in 1977, the franchise's sci-fi world has been particularly notable for its fantastical creatures. As the scope of the Star Wars universe has grown over the past 45 years, so have the many mischievous and intriguing beings that the beloved characters have encountered.
The newest member of the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Wish, features two novel experiences for Star Wars fans onboard. One of the attractions is the highly anticipated Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, a Star Wars-themed bar with designs inspired by Solo (2018). Alongside the Marvel Super Hero Academy in The Oceaneer Club, kids are able to explore Star Wars: Cargo Bay, an interactive experience that teaches young passengers about the many mishaps in the world of Star Wars as connected to its mysterious creatures.

Screen Rant had the opportunity to tour and explore the Star Wars: Cargo Bay on the Disney Wish, where Disney Cruise Line Show Director Tony Giordano explained what kids can expect from the new attraction. Inside the Star Wars: Cargo Bay experience, kids are able to learn the names, planet origins, and dietary habits of some of the Star Wars universe’s most interesting beings. Such creatures include the Dianoga from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, the Tatooine-native Worrt, the Loth-cat, a pesky Porg, and a Dokma.
