Selectable Borders, Clans, and More Are Coming to Marvel Snap
Second Dinner has released an updated roadmap for Marvel Snap highlighting a number of features that are coming soon or active development and others that are still in the early concept stages.
Some notable features on the horizon are improvements to albums, a feature recently launched that allowed players to collect variants illustrated by certain artists to unlock unique rewards such as variants and emotes. The feature is set to be expanded with parent albums allowing for multiple sub-albums for a given artist.
Arguably the most exciting feature coming soon will be the introduction of selectable card effects. A long running community request, this feature will allow players to customize their cards with whichever card border they see fit along with any Infinity Split combo they’ve unlocked.
Another feature sure to be a crowd pleaser is the addition of Character Mastery. This feature will allow players to unlock even more Splits and even character specific Reactions by collecting cosmetics related to said character.
Down the road, Second Dinner plans on adding Clan functionality to Marvel Snap to increase opportunities to socialize and play with other players, introduce clan competitions, and even a new game mode.
