Seeds of Renewal is live in World of Warcraft, bringing the Dragonflight epilogue chapters, expanding Dragonriding, adding new history to learn, world events, Follower dungeons, and more.
This update marks a significant turning point, as the major story of Dragonflight is done and the time for renewal has begun. Sit back and learn some of the history of the Dragon Isles, help excavate some old relics, get rewarded and enjoy new ways to do familiar things.
Robin dove into the update this week, setting up what you can expect.
Head to the new zone of Bel’ameth, a night elf settlement that serves as a spot for the kaldorei to seek rest. There, you will find new and returning characters to meet and maybe hear some informative stories.
At the Azorathian Archives, history is the name of the game, as you’ll have a chance to find and uncover relics within Traitor’s Rest in the latest new world event. With large and small versions for groups and soloers/duos, there’s opportunity at scale. Hear the tales behind these discoveries, recover them, and defend. Earn some new rewards like pets, mounts, and even a new Transmog set.
Dragonflight’s epilogue chapters close out a certain portion of the tale being told, but also open up more. And speaking of opening up, Dragonriding is now possible in any area of the world that supports flight.
Follower dungeons allow for solo players and small groups to take on Dragonflight’s normal difficulty dungeons in a new way. You can queue for these using the Group Finder. Just pick a class, decide whether to lead the party, and fill the rest with role-appropriate NPCs (up to 4, depending on how many humans are joining).
