This week's GG WoW video is a retrospective of Season 2 Mythic Plus without focusing on the recent 'God Comp' meta balance side of things. Many points in this video reference topics from this interview with the Community Council.
Up first, Dratnos and Tettles tackle the 8 dungeons chosen for this pool! The returning dungeons were surprising to many, especially with the inclusion of Vortex Pinnacle, a dungeon from Cataclysm. There are some pain points such as Neltharus with the chain situation and, in Dratnos' opinion, Halls of Infusion and Uldaman being a little more painful.
In general, however, both Dratnos and Tettles prefer this season's dungeons to last, with the lack of super easy dungeons like Court of Stars and Shadowmoon Burial Grounds (Underrot is close but not as bad), and the lack of super nasty dungeons like Temple of the Jade Serpent being a big plus of the season. Affixes changed this season, with a big shakeup and the removal of several historically painful ones as well as the entire Seasonal Affix slot.
We also saw the (admittedly rough at the start) implementation of several new affixes, which were massively improved through the PTR cycle and launched in a pretty good state. Dratnos and Tettles still have nitpicks with certain affixes like Raging and Bolstering, and also dislike the 'passenger' affixes of Incorporeal and Afflicted which can be ignored by some players in some groups and can be very heavy burdens on others.
