The announcement of DLC for has brought with it the reveal of several new Pokémon, one of which could be among the most powerful in the franchise’s history. News of the upcoming two-part DLC,, was presented as part of this year’s Pokémon Day celebration. Multiple new Legendaries were introduced at the same time, one of which is believed to have incredible powers.
The franchise is no stranger to powerful beings. Even in Generation 1, Mewtwo was presented as one of the most powerful Pokémon in existence. Of course, Mewtwo now has plenty of rivals for this title, even if some of the strongest Pokémon have been nerfed over time. Many of these are actually Legendary Pokémon themselves, with perhaps the clearest example being Arceus, the creator of the Pokémon world. Other notable Legendaries include Palkia and Dialga, rulers of time and space, as well as Xerneas and Yveltal, associated with life and destruction. Now another Legendary in the same league may have been revealed.

One of the new Pokémon coming later this year is Terapagos, a turtle-like Legendary due to be introduced in the second part of,. Known to be closely connected to the Terastal phenomenon, Terapagos’ existence as a third Legendary in (to complement Koraidon and Miraidon) has previously been hinted at in the Scarlet/Violet Books and research notes found in Area Zero. And although unconfirmed, it is also believed that this Pokémon may have the power to make dreams and ideas a reality. This is mostly due to several incongruities relating to the Paradox Pokémon.
