Mortal Kombat 1's Premium edition launches September 14, five days ahead of the game's official September 19 release.

It's just about time to dive back into the gory world of Mortal Kombat. The latest entry in the iconic fighting game series, Mortal Kombat 1, releases September 19 on consoles and PC. However, you can start playing as early as tomorrow, September 14, if you preorder the Premium edition. PC players can take advantage of some great deals on both digital Steam editions of the game. All preorders come with Shang Tsung as a playable character.
Mortal Kombat 1 is a $70 game on all platforms, but Fanatical is selling the standard edition for $60.89. On top of the discount, you'll also get a free «highly rated» Steam game with your order. Meanwhile, the Premium edition is discounted to $95.69, down from $110, and also comes with a free game.
If you don't care about the free game, though, Green Man Gaming has the lowest prices for Mortal Kombat 1. GMG XP members (free rewards program) can snag the standard edition for $58.09 or the Premium edition for $91.29.
In addition to five-day early access starting September 14, the Premium edition comes with Shang Tsung as a playable character and the following extras:
