Sandra Bullock jokes that she would star in Speed 3 if her Lost City co-star Daniel Radcliffe directs it. Bullock starred in the 1994 action-thriller as Annie Porter, a love interest for Keanu Reeves' LAPD SWAT officer Jack Traven and the eventual driver of the explosive-rigged bus that will detonate if its speed drops below 50 miles per hour. Speed was a notable success at the box office, grossing over $350 million and leading to the infamous Speed 2: Cruise Control, commonly considered one of the the worst sequels of all-time. Bullock is still embarrassed by Speed 2.
Bullock's career didn't suffer too much due to that slight misstep in 1997. She went on to win an Academy Award for her performance in The Blind Side in 2009, followed by another nomination for Gravity in 2013. After a minor lull, Bullock reinvigorated her career with streaming hits on Netflix, 2018's Bird Box and The Unforgivable this past year. Now, she's set to return to theaters with the rom-com romp The Lost City opposite Channing Tatum and Radcliffe as the primary antagonist. Though Bullock had said she's taking a break from acting, there is one project that might pull her back in.

During an interview with FOX 5 New York alongside Radcliffe, Bullock joked that would be down for Speed 3 under one stipulation – if her Lost City co-star directs it. "Don't threaten me with a good time," Radcliffe responded, saying he would love to do it and even revealed his preferred title for the threequel – Speed 3: Horsepower. Bullock went on to say she envisions Radcliffe as a "posh" director who wears a "monocle" and a "vest with lots of pockets. That's what will get me out of the house, right there," she joked.
