Daniel Radcliffe compares The Lost City to Brendan Fraser's The Mummy and expresses his love for the '90s Universal horror remake. The Harry Potter alum stars in the upcoming rom-com adventure as Abigail Fairfax, an eccentric billionaire searching for the titular location and its riches. In an effort to find it, he kidnaps romance-adventure novelist Loretta Sage for her help after her latest book offers clues to the lost city's location, spurring dimwitted cover model Alan Caprison to spring in to action to save her.
Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum lead the cast of The Lost City alongside Radcliffe, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Patti Harrison, Oscar Nuñez, Raymond Lee, Bowen Yang and Brad Pitt. The film hails from directing duo Adam and Aaron Nee on a story concept from Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon and a script the two rewrote based on previous drafts from Mortal Kombat's Oren Uziel and Cruella's Dana Fox. The Lost City recently debuted at the South by Southwest Film Festival to largely positive reviews and now those behind the film are offering new insight of what's to come.
