Sandra Bullock has recently recalled a dangerous scene where she expressed that she genuinely feared for co-star Daniel Radcliffe's life while filming their latest movie, The Lost City. The brand-new film makes its theatrical debut today and is bringing forth a new combination of genres that audiences haven’t seen for quite some time now.
Radcliffe's character in Paramount's The Lost City, Fairfax, is described as an “eccentric billionaire who funds a death-defying mission to South America." Fairfax ultimately ends up kidnapping romance novelist Loretta Sage, played by Bullock. Fairfax is convinced that Sage's most recent book, The Lost City of D, contains encrypted clues that have led him to believe that the fictional world she created is in fact real and that she knows exactly how to get there. Sage's fate ends up being in the hands of Channing Tatum's Alan Caprison, her slightly foolish yet incredibly charming cover model who portrays the main character in her book series, Dash McMahon.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the cast of The Lost City had the chance to reminisce about some of the more scary and even somewhat life-threatening stunts they performed while shooting on location in the Dominican Republic. Directors of the film, Aaron and Adam Nee, expressed that they were fearful that Radcliffe would pull out of production immediately. They emphasized, “I think Adam and I thought, ‘Oh no, we’ve just gotten Daniel here, and we’re going to throw him in the ocean.” Sandra Bullock ended up correcting them both, clarifying, “And now, we’re going to kill him.”
