Mikhail Olson, also known as Simbuilder in the Roblox community, has been arrested and charged with multiple firearm-related offences. A video also appears to show him resisting arrest, punching one of the police officers arresting him outside of the Roblox Developers Conference.
Olson, known for his Roblox game, Vehicle Simulator, faces four firearm-related charges, including "having a concealed firearm in a vehicle", and "large capacity magazine activity". It's not clear if his alleged possession of a firearm is related to his arrival at RDC, to which he is said to have attempted to attend without invitation.

Records from the San Francisco Sherrif's Office show that Olson was booked 8:32pm local time on September 9. There is no scheduled release date in his records, nor has the bond been set, so it's likely that he was held overnight.
Olson's alleged actions resulted in RDC's Roblox Innovation Awards being cancelled. Roblox said that this was "due to a potential security concern", and that it is working with authorities.
Attendees are sharing footage online of what appears to be Olson's arrest. It's not clear if he had the firearm on his person at the time, as the charges would imply he left it in his vehicle. It also isn't clear what motivated him to try to attend the Roblox Innovation Awards without an invite, if that really is the case, particularly if he did have firearms in his vehicle at the time.
There are no previous social media posts from Olson that explain why he may have decided to attend in this manner. If he was trying to get into the event, it seems that he did so with little warning. It also isn't clear what prompted the police to arrest him
