I think there’s a general consensus that Arcane: League of Legends was pretty good, yes? It still has a 100% score over on Rotten Tomatoes, which is something very few media ever achieve, and even 96% of audience members agree that Arcane was a blast to watch. Pun perhaps intended.
Riot was also quite pleased with Arcane’s performance, and it’s now hard at work with the same French animation studio in creating Arcane Season 2. In fact, Riot was so impressed with Fortiche Productions and Arcane that it’s decided to make a new equity investment in the studio to help bind these two companies together.

Arcane: League of Legends premiered globally last November where it quickly rose to the top of Netflix’s worldwide charts, hitting top 10 in over 52 countries. Arcane also received 9 nominations at the 49th annual Annie awards, including best TV/media for general audiences, best character design, and best writing. Fortiche also helped make the music video for Enemy, the hit song by Imagine Dragons featured in Arcane that also hit number one on the Billboard music charts.
With so many accolades, it’s no surprise that Riot is looking to cement a lifelong partnership with Fortiche to keep expanding the League of Legends universe.
