Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Games will reveal an extended Hogwarts Legacy gameplay video during a PlayStation State of Play event today.
The show will last for approximately 20 minutes and feature over 14 minutes of Hogwarts Legacy gameplay captured on PS5.
It starts at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 9pm GMT and will be available on Twitch and YouTube. You’ll also be able to watch it live via the video embedded at the top of this page.
Following the gameplay reveal, some of the title’s developers at Avalanche Software will provide additional insight into what players can expect from the game.
“Since we first revealed Hogwarts Legacy, the trailer has been viewed over 28 million times on the PlayStation YouTube channel,” community manager Chandler Wood wrote in a PlayStation Blog post this week. “We promised to share more this year, and we’re finally ready to deliver on that promise.”
Wood added: “This is an incredible moment that we’ve been building towards for a long time. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.”
Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books.
Due to be published under Warner’s Portkey Games label, it was originally scheduled to be released in 2021 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
However, last year Warner delayed the game’s release window to 2022. It recently reiterated plans to release Hogwarts Legacy this year, along with WB Games Montreal’s Gotham Knights, which will arrive in October.
