Finally, Sony announced a special Hogwarts Legacy State of Play presentation that featured a deep-dive into what fans can expect from the game once it arrives this holiday season. During the Hogwarts Legacy State of Play presentation, fans got to see the player character participate in all kinds of magical Hogwarts activities. This included potion brewing, though the potions will be governed by timers. Timers like these are common in mobile games, which often let users spend real-world money to speed things up. Understandably, this led many to assume that Hogwarts Legacy would have microtransactions, but it's now been clarified that the game will not have microtransactions of any kind.
