Whether you're playing through Resident Evil 4 Remake for the first time or the fifth time since its launch last month, there are likely a few moments throughout the game during which you wish you didn't have to keep such a close eye on your ammo. While there are legitimate ways to make sure you never run out of rounds, one player appears to have found a glitch that lets you fire off RPG rockets as if they were pistol bullets.
RegoleSlayer posted the clip on Twitter, showing that something happens while Leon is running with the RPG which makes the game think the lead character has switched to the pistol. It's not entirely clear what triggers this glitch, but it appears to be connected to Leon taking fire while Regole tries to switch between the rocket launcher and the pistol. Since Leon takes a hit while switching his weapon, the ammo amount changes to the pistol, but the rocket launcher remains in play.

That results in Regole having ten rockets to play with rather than just one, gleefully firing them off as they celebrate stumbling upon what will be an incredibly helpful glitch if easily replicated. Whether it was a one-off or if it can be used again and again remains unclear, though. It may be a glitch specific to that one location, and it's also unclear whether it works when using any pair of weapons or if it's just a kinship shared between the pistol and the rocket launcher.
If you want to run through a fire of bullets and explosions to test if the glitch will work anywhere and with any weapons, be my guest. As noted above though, there is a legitimate way to bag yourself infinite ammo in Resident Evil 4, and it comes with a snazzy pair of cat ears.
