Raccoon Logic has unveiled its newest project, the Revenge of the Savage Planet, a sequel to the Sci-Fi adventure title Journey to the Savage Planet.
Raccoon Logic's upcoming title was showcased at the Opening Night Live pre-show and the Xbox Gamescom reveal. For those inspired by the first game in the series, the new sequel has brought in much more, building upon the same roots. This time, players will have access to a larger pool of content, including more new planets and gears and hundreds of secrets to uncover.
One of the most significant changes in Revenge of the Savage Planet is the switch to a third-party perspective, an attempt to stay true to the series' initial inspirations. Interestingly, the devs have also added online co-op and crossplay within the title, allowing gamers to interact with anyone anywhere in the world, choosing them as their comrades for the whole journey. You can also play with a split screen if you are more inclined towards couch co-op.
Adding plenty of new content has brought the spotlight to the sequel. The game now features four new planets, including Stellaris Prime and Zephy, all equipped with unique environments and obstacles to provide gamers with a delightful experience.
